Hi, I’m Krystin Sherwood, founder of Stark Grey Events and a classically trained pastry chef from Kendall College. I’m originally from Cleveland, but Chicago quickly became home and the place where I turned my passion for food and design into something bigger.

I started Stark Grey because I was motivated by how often hosts spend their entire event worrying about the details instead of enjoying them. My vision was to create a company that handles every element, food, florals, design, staffing, and all the finishing touches, so you can actually experience your event while knowing everything is taken care of.

Every build is intentional, personal, and designed to be unforgettable. My team and I are always pushing creative boundaries to deliver something truly special, experiences that feel genuine, immersive, and distinctly you. This isn’t just what we do, it’s what we love!
